Stocks Road : Multiple residents complaining about ongoing ASB/drug related issues focused around a few specific addresses in the Stocks Road area
ASB: General ASB reported. Police to establish who the offenders are and deal
Speeding: Residents have raised concerns around motorists speeding in 20mph limits although they know police cannot prosecute they are concerned that there may be an accident in the near future. Passed to RPU for monitoring.
Area Actions and updates for January
1.ASHTON - Speeding. Reports of speeding in the area. Passed to RPU for monitoring. Multiple vehicle related operations have been in force throughout the Christmas period primarily aimed at drink drive offences with other matters such as speeding being taken into account.
2.ASHTON - Stocks Road Hostel ASB as discussed at the PACT meeting. On-going matter.Action is still ongoing to target the problematic addresses in this area causing ASB to other local residents. New legislation is going to be enforced in order to resolve this issue in the long term.
3.ASHTON - ASB - General ASB reported. Police to establish who the offenders are and deal. Main areas of concern have been around Tulketh Crescent and bottom end of Stocks Road. The youths from Tulketh Crescent have been identified and dealt with by way of youth referrals. In relation to Stocks Road Police are to look at new ASB legislation in order to take the most appropriate action.
